This pair of moccasins was made by either Assiniboine or closely related Nakota Sioux. These moccasins likely date in the 1930 -1940 era. They are completely sinew sewn, even the beads are sewn on with sinew. Hand tanned leather shows some scraper marks which is pretty neat. These are a very pretty pair, with nice color combinations and design. 10.5" long.
